No one can deny that the United States has played a large role in world history in the past two hundred years.  And as the US becomes more involved in this increasingly complex world environment, one can’t help but wonder what role it will play in the future.

America’s Destiny introduces Biblical prophesy and attempts to align events of the books of Revelation and the prophets to current world events. The author believes that these events point towards the “end times” as portrayed in the book of Revelation.  He then attempts to define the United States’ role in those end times.

While it’s certainly tempting to look into the future, the book of Revelation was written in cryptic language that cannot be easily deciphered.  Many of the images the author attempts to interpret could be viewed in various ways.  His interpretation could be different from what the prophesies originally intended.

It wasn’t readily apparent what the author’s purpose was in writing this book.  He didn’t open with a strong premise or make a concluding statement that drove home his points clearly and succinctly.  The author also writes this book from a Christian-centric philosophy, denying that other religions could also have a basis in morality or a code of ethics.
