Simply enjoyable.

Ms. Fellowes has written an effortless little mystery with just a touch of romance.  An uncomplicated weekend read.

Gretchen Waller is an artist, a starving out of work artist.  One day a friend gives her the number of someone looking for a research assistant.  Gretchen’s hired.  The boss just happens to belong to the Honeycutt Family…think fictional Kennedys.  John David Honeycutt is determined to clear his grandfather of murder charges, and Gretchen’s going to help.

There are no big love scenes.  No big car chases.  Not even one instance of the two lovebirds battling over their developing love.

Just a simple enjoyable little mystery.  A perfect balance of story and character.

Well done.
